Just Wanted to Say Thank You!

It's been a while since i last posted. I have'nt forgotten you, just been extremely busy with several things; The Naija Mixtape, My job, social engineering, promo and marketing for my mixtape amongst a list of other engagements.

I finally released the final version of my naija mixtape on August 3 and have since then been busy with marketing.




I must admit - i didnt expect to sell more than 50 copies of the cd, but till date i have managed to sell 209 units via my myspace page.

it's so unreal! not that i do not have faith in my work cos i really do, but the amount of support i received was very inspiring. I remember a supporter telling me she had never felt so hyped up about Nigerian HipHop Prior to listening to the mixtape. I guess we as the DJs, The Marketers, Promoters, Managers need to put in more work towards spreading the word. A new Renaissance has begun in Naija HipHop.

I just want to take this time to say thank you to everyone that has bought the mixcd. I've been taking trips to the post office very often nowadays, even the folks that work there now know me by my name. I hope you enjoyed the compilation, and most importantly it increased your love for Nigerian HipHop - Our HipHop.

Thanks to the Promoters for playing a major role in my success, making "DJ MightyMike" a household name here in atlanta within a rather short period of time, most notably my good friends Dare and Jide at Dejavu Ent, We3ent, Tiwa Works, Rising Sun and the rest. Always a pleasure doing business. Special thanks to the fans that have always come out to my events, those that continue to cheer me on even when i was'nt at my very best, those that helped me get giggs thru referral. My 2 yrs in Atlanta has been a blessing for my DJing Career. Thank You!
